Tubing In Scaly Mountain
The Highlands Plateau is transitioning to a year round community and we now have the ice skating to prove it. The Scaly Mountain Outdoor Center has been known for its snow tubing and now offers skating, too. Many only think of our area when trying to escape the summer heat or wanting to see beautiful fall colors but many, like us, are here year round. We love the quiet the cold weather brings and enjoy how the summer haze lifts and the mountain vistas go on forever. Seriously, it is the best time to shop for property because our reptile friends are taking a long winter nap, property lines are more visible and you can really understand view possibilities.
