What’s the big deal about windows?

There are those who never notice windows though many (like us) believe windows are a very important design detail. However, it’s not all about being pretty because in environments like ours where one season brings cold, wet and windy weather and another warm summer days, windows have a higher calling.  In addition, most mountain homes have lots of windows because we want to see the beauty that surrounds us.  Lastly, many homes are built as second homes but may one day be a primary therefore a pretty, insulated, low-maintenance window with longevity is important.

A quality window provides the following:

Efficiency:
Reflects radiant heat, no leaks or drafts, allows more natural light.
Longevity: Remains functional and intact.
Low Maintenance: No painting or rotting.
Aesthetics: No color fading or cracking.

We have installed may Marvin windows and still believe it is a great choice.   For another more cost efficient product, check out Integrity.
