An Interesting Bath

The home we recently finished uses clean lines to achieve a simplistic yet elegant look. For instance the cabinets in the master bath were made from reclaimed wood, yet have a contemporary feel. This house was a lot of fun to build because of the different features and products used.

To experience all that the area has to offer would take a great deal of time. With the changing of the seasons the trails also change which makes a new trail possible every time you hike.

Moisture Damage

Fortunately termites are not a big problem here on the plateau. However, we do live in a temperate rain forest and get more rain than most areas in the United States. The damage in the picture is not from insects but from moisture. All of the floor framing and the lower part of the wall framing was completely rotten and had to be replaced. I'd like to say this was unusual but we frequently find this level of damage.
